Work finally starts on West Valley industrial facility after rebrand, new partnership
A proposed industrial project in the West Valley has been rebranded with a new partner and has broken ground months after construction was expected to start.
The industrial facility, previously known as Summit Business Park, was slated to begin construction in August 2022 and be completed by this summer. The project is now called the West Summit Logistics Park and is being developed by Dallas-based Mohr Capital and its capital partner Dallas-based Rosewood Property Co. across 46 acres.
Mohr Capital has started sourcing equity partners to expand its reach in the future and develop capital market relationships and joint ventures, including the new joint venture with Rosewood Property, the Dallas Business Journal reported.
“We are always looking for opportunities to expand our industrial presence, and we saw how partnering with Mohr Capital provides a great opportunity to grow in Arizona," said Rick Perdue, president of Rosewood Property, in a statement. “With its prime location and exceptional amenities, West Summit Logistics Park is poised to play a key role in the vibrant West Valley logistics and distribution hub.”
