Whataburger to expand in the Valley; new build-to-rent community now leasing

Mark-Taylor Residential has begun leasing Sanctuary on 51st, a new single-family luxury rental home community in Laveen.

Scottsdale-based Brown Group Inc., owner and developer of the 217-unit project at 7100 S. 51st Ave., is continuing to build out the community, which is expected to receive its final certification of occupancy in August 2023.

Monthly rental rates range between $1,749 for a 1-bedroom, 1 bath, 1 story unit and $2,725 for a 3-bedroom, 2-bath, 2-story unit.

The community, which features homes with fenced backyards or patios, currently is about 3% leased.

The open-concept floor plans feature 9-foot ceilings and large double-paned windows. Smart home features include smart door locks, thermostats an water leak sensors with remote capabilities. The community includes amenities such as clubhouse and fitness center, dog park, pool and grills and cabanas.
