With another $62 million apartment project already under construction, Phoenix-based Evergreen Devco Inc. has broken ground on a $60 million apartment community in Tolleson.

The 258-unit community is being built on a 9.48-acre parcel at 8827 W. McDowell Road, and is part of the larger Plaza 91 mixed-use development, which currently consists of a Fairfield Inn and retail shops.

BMA Architects LLC is designing the project, which will feature three-story luxury garden apartments with a resort-style pool and spa, wood-inspired plank flooring, Quartz countertops and stainless-steel appliances.

Scottsdale-based MT Builders LLC is the contractor for the Parc Tolleson project, which is being engineered by Phoenix-based HilgartWilson LLC, while landscape design is by Scottsdale-based Collaborative V Design Studio.
