New industrial park proposed for Pinal County city of Eloy
As more businesses expand in cities across Pinal County, more developers have also been eyeing vacant land for new industrial projects.
One of the newest proposed industrial facilities is Park 8-Ten, which will feature six multi-tenant buildings totaling approximately 741,149 square feet close to the interchange of Interstates 10 and 8 and west of Sunland Gin Road. Each building will be able to house one to four tenants.
The nearly 50-acre site in Eloy, a city of nearly 20,000 people, could be home to logistics and light manufacturing companies and suppliers that need space in the area to support the growing manufacturing base in Pinal County and companies like Lucid Motors, Nikola Corp., Kohler Co. and Procter & Gamble.
The park in Eloy is being developed in partnership by Brett Shaves, president of Scottsdale-based Newport Commercial Partners LLC and Armin Martens, CEO of Canada-based Manncor Realty Advisors. Shaves said that the project started as a speculative development but said they've received interest already on a couple of the buildings from companies in multiple industries.
