Nearly 100 acres of industrial land south of Phoenix sell; 7 other real estate deals to know
Scottsdale-based Walton Global has sold 92.81 acres of vacant land in Eloy for $9 million, according to Tempe-based Vizzda LLC real estate database.
Buying the property, which is east of the northeast corner of Sunshine Boulevard and Interstate 10, is an entity tracing to Daren O. Zumberge, according to Vizzda.
The land is in a 277-acre industrial zoned project within a partially developed master plan called Sunshine Industrial, which is south of Casa Grande and Coolidge at the junction between Interstate 10 and Interstate 8. The property also holds federal approval as a Foreign-Trade Zone site, according to Walton Global.
“The city of Eloy has experienced rapid growth over the last few years as businesses flock to affordably priced locations to invest in and expand their businesses,” Rob Nixon, senior vice president of Arizona and Canada at Walton Global, said in a statement. “Businesses that take advantage of this prime real estate will benefit from being at the intersection of the state’s transportation infrastructure while bringing more jobs and an economic boost to the area.”
