More major industrial projects in the works for East, West Valley
Developers continue to roll out big plans for industrial construction on both the east and west sides of the Valley.
In Mesa, a joint venture between Ryan Cos. and DWS is planning to begin construction in August on a speculative light industrial park called the Confluence at Mesa Gateway, which will include six industrial buildings, ranging in size from 33,000 to 177,000 square feet, for a total of 516,121 square feet.
More industrial space also is coming to El Mirage, in the northwest Valley.
Ti Cold Development purchased a 27.2-acre site in the city where it plans to develop a speculative cold storage facility. According to city of El Mirage documents, Ti Cold Development plans to develop 320,000 square feet of space on the site for storage and distribution of frozen food products.
The site, at 13000 W. Joe R. Ramirez Road, will be part of the larger Copperwing Logistics Center. The planned industrial park, which was approved in 2020, totals nearly 1,000 acres of land in El Mirage near El Mirage Road and Peoria Avenue.
