Indianapolis developer proposes Queen Creek industrial park
Thompson Thrift wants to bring more than one million square feet of new industrial development to Queen Creek.
The Indianapolis-based developer proposes the Germann and Meridian Industrial park on more than 60 acres. The proposed project is located on the south side of Germann Road, between Signal Butte and Meridian roads, and to the north of the Barney Farms 550-acre master-planned community in Queen Creek.
The park would include 1,023,604 square feet of space to be built through 12 shell buildings, ranging in size from 61,291 to 109,545 square feet.
The project proposal lists Phoenix-based Butler Design Group as the architect while Mesa-based EPS Group is the civil engineer. No users have been identified for the site, according to the proposal. A price tag for the buildout was also unknown.
