A pair of Arizona towns have been registered as “hidden gem” cities for entrepreneurs looking to launch companies away from the usual national hot spots — with one landing at No. 2 among the nation’s under-the-radar startup destinations.

Flagstaff took second place and Yuma ranked No. 37 on Wall Street information site MarketBeat.com’s list of America’s Top 100 Hidden Gem Cities for Startups, which looked at smaller cities across the nation that offer advantages such as supportive business environments and costs of living that are lower than well-known places like Silicon Valley, New York City and Austin.
