Finland-based Vincit expands by leasing Scottsdale office space
A year and a half after the acquisition of a Valley tech company, Vincit is expanding into a new office in Scottsdale.
Vincit will move into a 4,268-square-foot space in south Scottsdale at the Quad, bringing 25 employees to its new space located just southwest of Old Town. The firm first expanded into Arizona in April 2021 after it acquired Scottsdale web marketing firm Vuria Creative Technology.
“Arizona was a strategic choice we made last year, and I’m glad we did,” said Ville Houttu, CEO of Vincit USA in a statement. “Even before Gov. Doug Ducey’s announcement to invest $100 million into the semiconductor industry, we could see the fast technology growth in the Valley. Such a competitive market is exactly where our development and design expertise lend value. It is really exciting to be positioned in such an increasingly vibrant ecosystem.”
A timeline for when Vincit exactly will take occupancy of the office wasn't immediately known on Monday afternoon. Upon opening the office, it will have an address of 6320 E. Thomas Road in Suite 200.
Vincit does web design and development, mobile apps and other digital solutions for clients such as Yamaha, Kellogg’s, GE and Logitech. The company went public on Nasdaq’s First North market in 2016 and trades under the ticker symbol “VINCIT," according to previous reporting.
Vincit chose to expand at The Quad because of its proximity to local universities and the existing tech ecosystem in greater Phoenix, according to the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, which said it has been working with the company since January 2021.
