Dallas industrial developer gets green light for first Phoenix metro project
Dallas-based Urban Logistics Realty has received approval for its first Phoenix metro project in Goodyear.
The new campus, called Urban District 10, is slated for about 680,000 square feet of speculative light industrial, commercial and office space across five buildings south of Interstate 10.
The commerce and business park will cost about $135 million to build across 44 acres at the northeast corner of Bullard Avenue and Celebrate Life Way.
Mike Gilbert, director of the southwest division for Urban Logistics, said they've been working for more than a year on the zoning process for the site, which he said is one of the last remaining sites in Goodyear that can accommodate a business park development.
Potential users could lease between 25,000 square feet and 200,000 square feet in the park and be in the advanced manufacturing, technology, bioscience or pharmaceutical industries.
