California homebuilder enters Phoenix market with big plans
Thomas James Homes Inc. is expanding to Phoenix.
This move comes at a time when the Aliso Viejo, California-based homebuilder filed a $100 million initial public offering in an effort to trade stock on Nasdaq under the symbol TJH.
The homebuilder selected Ryan Huffman as its first Arizona division president to lead the expansion. Huffman came from Richmond American Homes, where he most recently served as president of its Phoenix east division. He also was with PulteGroup's Arizona division, where he was director of land acquisition, planning and development over an eight-year period.
Born and raised in Phoenix, Huffman graduated from Brophy College Preparatory and earned his civil engineering degree from Northern Arizona University and a master's of business administration from University of Arizona.
