The clock is ticking for homeowners across metro Phoenix who are frantically getting their homes ready for the thousands of people who will flood into the Valley in two weeks.

Many visitors coming in to watch Super Bowl LVII on Feb. 12 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale are sure to head into town early to catch the WM Phoenix Open, scheduled for Feb. 6-12.

Many of the Valley's hotels have already been sold out, according to Jesse Thompson, area director of sales and marketing for Benchmark Global Hospitality. In turn, that means visitors are turning to Airbnb Inc. and other rental sites to find accommodations.
