ASU's new medical school likely to be built on one of three Phoenix biomedical campuses
As Arizona State University makes plans to build its own medical school, the university's president told the Business Journal it would likely be built on one of three Phoenix biomedical campuses.
"We don't know which one yet," President Michael Crow said.
Here are the likely three choices where the new medical school, to be known as the ASU School of Medicine and Advanced Medical Engineering, could land:
• The most established biomedical campus is the 30-acre Phoenix Bioscience Core. Established in 2004 as the Phoenix Biomedical Campus in downtown Phoenix, it is home to ASU's Biodesign Institute, College of Health Solutions and Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation.
